MINA — Saudi Post (SPL) has issued a commemorative stamp priced at SAR3 and a postcard priced at SAR5 on the Hajj season 1446 AH, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
This initiative reflects SPL’s commitment to using postage stamps as a means to promote significant occasions, including the Hajj season.
SPL has issued approximately 49 special stamps related to Hajj, featuring themes such as its pillars, duties, timings, and development projects in the Grand Mosque and other holy sites.
These stamps are part of the ‘SPL’ series, which highlights key national events – including religious, cultural, artistic, and sporting occasions – as well as significant international events.
Each postage and commemorative stamp illustrates a significant event or immortalises a notable scene from Saudi history, making them highly valued by stamp collectors worldwide. — BERNAMA-SPA
