PM Anwar receives courtesy visit from US-ABC delegation

KUALA LUMPUR — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today received a courtesy visit from the delegation of the United States-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC), which expressed its commitment to continue investing in Malaysia.

The courtesy visit, led by US-ABC senior vice president and regional managing director Brian D. McFeeters, took place at the Perdana Putra Complex in Putrajaya.

Anwar, in a post on X, said that during the meeting, representatives from multinational companies present provided positive feedback following the meeting held last year.

“Various new collaborations have been formed, in addition to facilitating solutions to the issues they faced.

“Besides their commitment to continue investing in Malaysia, we also exchanged views on the approach towards strengthening industry development involving policies, skilled workforce, and funding,” he said.

Anwar emphasised that it is important for the government to continue dialogues with industry players to ensure that policies and their implementation yield the desired results.
