THETA Edge Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Theta Healthcare Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract valued at approximately RM4.38 million from the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) for the supply of mobile X-ray equipment and related services.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Theta said the contract involves the procurement, supply, installation, and maintenance of mobile X-ray equipment equipped with cloud-based connectivity and artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic capabilities.
The agreement will be implemented on a usage-based model and will run for a period of five years starting June 20, 2025.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the net assets and earnings per share of Theta Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 and onwards,” the company said.
Its board considers the contract to be in the best interest of the company. — TMR
