SUPREME Consolidated Resources Bhd (SCRB) has proposed to acquire a 14,690 sq metre parcel of mixed zone land in Kuching, Sarawak for RM5.6 million from Globalmas Sdn Bhd.
The fast-moving consumer goods group plans to build a new warehousing and cold storage facility on the site to serve as an additional distribution centre in Sarawak.
SCRB noted that its existing storage facilities are nearing full capacity, occasionally requiring rented space, which increases costs and reduces efficiency.
The new facility will include expanded warehousing space, freezer and chiller rooms, office areas, and dedicated loading bays, supporting both operational efficiency and future growth. — TMR
