KUALA LUMPUR — 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini (picture) as its new independent and non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Mohd Annuar, 73, replaced Datuk Farhash Wafa Salvador, who had resigned from the position on May 30, 2025, a day after the company’s annual general meeting.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, 7-Eleven said Mohd Annuar was a seasoned civil servant and corporate figure with over 40 years of experience.
It added that he currently serves as a board member of the Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO), and chairman of several firms, namely Country Annex Sdn Bhd, MRCB Land Sdn Bhd and UDA Holdings Bhd, as well as senior advisor of international affairs, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). — BERNAMA
