MICHAEL Learns To Rock (MLTR), the Danish soft rock trio known for its string of romantic ballads, will be performing in Malaysia once again this year.
The band — comprising Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kåre Wanscher — will take the stage at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on Nov 9 at 6pm.
Titled “Encore All The Hits” in Malaysia, the concert signals yet another round of nostalgic tunes from a band that has captivated audiences since the late 1980s.
MLTR’s enduring popularity among Malaysian fans has seen them return to local stages repeatedly over the past three decades.
Known for timeless tracks such as Take Me To Your Heart, 25 Minutes, Paint My Love and Sleeping Child, MLTR continues to draw large crowds worldwide, with a career spanning nearly 1,000 live shows, over 11 million albums sold and 1.5 billion streams.
Despite its longevity, MLTR’s connection with Malaysian fans remains strong, having evolved from playing small gigs to selling out large arenas.
Tickets for the show range from RM188 to RM988, excluding a RM4 processing fee.
Genting Rewards members had access to ticket pre-sales beginning on Aug 4 at 12pm on rwgenting.com, while general ticket sales opened on Aug 8 at 12pm via etix.my, rwgenting.com and trip.com.
A limited number of premium ticket holders in the MLTR ZONE and VIP categories will also have the opportunity to meet the band through group and solo photo sessions.
