MALAYSIAN Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC) has announced key leadership changes across its group, with Group CEO Arshad Mohamed Ismail (picture) appointed as the new CEO of MARC Ratings Bhd, effective August 1, 2025.
Arshad succeeds Rajan Paramesran, who completed his service on July 31 after a 17-year tenure at the credit rating subsidiary.
“We extend our sincere thanks to Rajan for his outstanding service and unwavering dedication to MARC Ratings over the years,” said Arshad.
“He has played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s analytical excellence and market standing.”
Additionally, Taufiq Kamal, deputy chief rating officer, has been appointed to the Rating Committee, where he will support chief rating officer Hafiza Abdul Rashid in enhancing analytical processes, governance, and operational efficiency. — TMR
