K-One Technology Bhd said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, K-One Wellness Sdn Bhd, has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with MyResQ Sdn Bhd, appointing the latter as its official CPR and First Aid Training Partner and Representative.
The collaboration aims to enhance emergency medical response awareness and training, particularly among the working population.
Under the MoA, MyResQ, a medical app developer focused on cardiac emergency response, will conduct certified CPR and First Aid courses, while K-One Wellness will promote the training across its client base and provide long-term loan equipment to support the training sessions.
The initial term of the agreement is two years, effective August 7, 2025, and may be renewed by mutual consent.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 60 days’ notice.
K-One Wellness, a supplier of medical devices including automated external defibrillators (AEDs), views the partnership as a strategic move to support government initiatives for public emergency readiness while driving demand for its healthcare products.
Financially, the MoA is not expected to have a material impact on K-One Tech’s net assets or share capital but is expected to contribute positively to its earnings from FY2025 onwards.
Its board believes the partnership is in the best interest of the group, providing synergies with its existing healthcare segment. — TMR
