KUALA LUMPUR — Institut Keusahawanan Negara Berhad (INSKEN) today announced the appointment of Viviantie Sarjuni as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The appointment takes effect today.
INSKEN, in a statement today, said that Viviantie has over 20 years of experience in multinational companies and government agencies, with expertise in technology, innovation, and creativity.
“It is hoped that Viviantie’s appointment will strengthen INSKEN’s leadership and operations, while further empowering the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting micro and informal entrepreneurs to remain competitive and continue delivering quality services to Malaysians, especially entrepreneurs,” read the statement.
Before joining INSKEN, Viviantie served as the CEO of the Sabah Creative Economy and Innovation Centre (SCENIC) and president of Chevening Malaysia Alumni (2024-2026).
She is Chairman of the Economic Subcommittee under the Sabah Women’s Advisory Council (MPWS).
Viviantie, who has extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, spent a year and six months in Scotland to delve into the social innovation ecosystem in Europe and served for four years with a company based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, to strengthen her understanding of the global ecosystem.
She has also received various awards such as Kindness and Leadership 50 Leading Lights In The Asia Pacific 2024, Wiki Impact — 100 Changemakers In Malaysia 2024 and Sabah’s 100 Most Inspiring Women.
According to the statement, the INSKEN Board of Trustees and employees welcome Viviantie’s appointment and thank the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP) for approving the appointment. — BERNAMA
