FOREIGN investors continued their streak of net outflows on Bursa Malaysia, extending it to a fifth week of selling trend, recording a net outflow of RM565.2 million, slightly higher than the previous week’s outflow of RM444.4 million.
Their top counters with net outflow were RHB Bank Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Public Bank Bhd, according to MIDF Research’s fund flow report for the week ended June 20.
The top counters net bought by foreign investors were Westports Holdings Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd.
Local institutions continued their buying activities, extending to a fifth week buying streak with net inflows amounting to RM510.6 million, according to the report. — TMR
