TRUE style never fades — it evolves.
And so does the British footwear brand Dr Martens, which has successfully opened its third boutique in the heart of the capital, at Suria KLCC.
The new boutique marks a bold step in the brand’s expansion, offering a deeper presence in the city’s fashion and lifestyle scene. Designed with a sleek interior and featuring its iconic boots editions displayed at eye-level upon entry, the Suria KLCC boutique continues the brand’s legacy of timeless style, rebellious spirit and uncompromising craftsmanship.
The boutique highlights the unmistakable DNA of Dr Martens — from the classic 1460 boots to its latest collections.
Opening its door to fans and the public in last month, the store also celebrates the return of the legendary Adrian Tassel Loafer — a cult classic that has stood the test of time with its subcultural roots and polished edges.
The tassel design, although simple, stands out as iconic, making it a fashion statement on its own, for everyday wear.
First introduced in the 1980s, the loafer blends mod-inspired sharpness with the brand’s signature yellow welt stitching and air-cushioned soles. Its reintroduction brings a classic piece back to a new generation of wearers.
According to the brand’s spokesperson in Malaysia, the Suria KLCC boutique brings Dr Martens closer to its urban community.
“It’s not just a store (but) a space to rediscover iconic style and boots.
“With the Adrian Tassel Loafer making a comeback, we’re reminding the people that true style never fades (but) it evolves,” said the spokesperson, who declined to be named.
Among the notable figures who didn’t miss a beat during the boutique’s opening was singer-songwriter Khairil Ridzwan Anuar, also known as Loque of the independent rock band Butterfingers, and actor-musician Qi Razali, both accompanied by their spouses.
As with its other two locations, the Suria KLCC boutique offers a curated selection of Dr Martens footwear, accessories and limited collections.
Thanks to its unique location, the boutique is designed to cater to the city community — sharp, simple and elegant. While it offers a slightly different vibe compared to the boutiques at Sunway Pyramid and The Exchange TRX, it stays true to the brand’s punk and edgy identity.
In the coming months, the KLCC boutique will offer more than just shopping — customers can look forward to exclusive product releases, personalised styling sessions, and interactive community-driven events designed to deepen their connection with the brand.
