CAPE EMS Bhd, through its wholly owned unit Cape Renewables Sdn Bhd (CAPE RE), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with EV Connection Sdn Bhd (EVC) to jointly manufacture and supply electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and solar-related peripherals.
Under the two-year strategic partnership, CAPE RE will manufacture and supply EV chargers and solar components, while EVC will handle installation of charging stations and photovoltaic systems.
The first phase will include installations at the Vectrix Experience Centre in Senai to support the EV taxi project.
Both parties said the collaboration supports Malaysia’s green energy transition and national EV adoption roadmap, with room for deeper commercial-scale agreements in future. — TMR
