The world cannot afford to lose sight even as Israel and US turning genocide into regional war
DO NOT blink.
After decades of lying and pushing and shoving its sycophant the United States of America to attack the Republic of Iran, the terrorist regime Israel, finally — armed to the hilt with nothing less than the most sophisticated American weapons and military apparatus — launched over 200 jets to strike military and civilian targets in Tehran.
“Pre-emptive strike,” claimed the terrorist state Israel.
The Zionist regime has been shifting their genocide gears upwards and outwards.
In the past 20 months, Israel has attacked Syria, Lebanon and Yemen, killing thousands of innocent civilians while brutally bombarding and murdering hundreds of thousands more in the Gaza Strip.
Israel’s criminal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has long been pushing for the US to attack Iran, as the yellow-bellied Zionist are hesitant to face an armed force head-on.
The Israelis have never fought against any proper army for decades since the Six Day War, as they’ve only murdered helpless, unarmed Palestinian civilians, women and children.
Gazans only have a small-arms Hamas resistance to protect them, who are not even considered an armed military.
Iran has around 219 actively serving combat aircrafts and 610,000 personnels. Israel owns an estimated 285 sophisticated attack jets and 170,000 cowardly army.
Iran can claim the upper hand in terms of naval might — it has 17 tactical submarines versus Israel’s five. Both can claim a near identical missile arsenal, albeit Israel has an illegal stock nuclear missiles.
Iran, for the time being, has retaliated by releasing hundreds of armed drones toward Israel and warned that the Zionist regime should expect nothing less than a “severe punishment.”
While the conflict with Iran is being played, the world, however, must not lose sight of Gaza.
Official casualty of genocide in the strip has crossed 55,000 deaths, mostly civilians and majority children. Independent experts believed that the numbers are grossly understated.
The Lancet medical journal research in January this year revealed that the death toll in Gaza was at least 40% higher than the official numbers as tens of thousands remained missing. More than 110,000 injured Palestinians are facing a morbid lack of medical aid.
The 41km by 13km Gaza Strip has been bombarded with at least an estimated 85,000 tonnes of bombs, multiple times greater than the twin atomic bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki or even the whole Allied bombings of Dresden, Hamburg and London in the World War II, combined.
The strip — literally and figuratively — has been flattened.
Doctors Without Borders reported that 92% of all housing units in Gaza have been obliterated. All 36 hospitals within the strip were destroyed. No university, school or shelter is left standing. An independent agency said that more 225,000 structures, or more than 90% of buildings in Gaza, have been demolished.
What is more important is that the remaining 1.9 million displaced Gazans are facing the brutal systematic starvation by Israel. And the weaponisation of food aid, the most-evil stage of any genocide, is being carried out real-time by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Multiple reports and videos have witnessed the latest war crime by Israel and GHF complicity, murdering more than 220 Palestinians seeking aid since it started its dehumanising aid centres.
The United Nations (UN) has condemned these “death traps” and refused to cooperate with GHF.
Former UN aid chief Martin Griffiths slammed GHF’s modus operandi of luring hungry Palestinians seeking aid to be butchered by turning “food into opportunity for killing”.
What is clear is that GHF is operated by American religious extremists who are consistently smearing and wrongfully accusing Hamas resistance fighters for attacks on aid seekers. Ironically, their Israeli counterpart did not even bother to lie, admitting that they slaughtered unarmed Palestinians who deviated from their self-prescribed aid lines.
The desire to mass murder and ethnically cleanse Gaza from Palestinians, is real.
US President Donald J Trump has openly declared his intent of taking Gaza for the US’ own and GHF is the tool to achieve it.
Even as the UN resolution for a ceasefire was vetoed by the US for the fifth time in the Security Council, it is getting more and more critical for the global body to yet again file another demand for ceasefire, and to resume food and medical aid to Palestinians.
The world must continue to watch Gaza.
