Solar District Cooling signs 21-year solar PPA with Wana Properties in Melaka

SOLAR District Cooling Group Bhd (SDCG), via its wholly-owned subsidiary Solar District Cooling Sdn Bhd, has signed a 21-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Wana Properties Sdn Bhd for a rooftop solar project at Wana’s property in Melaka.
Under the deal inked on May 16, 2025, SDC will install, own, operate, and maintain the solar system, while Wana will purchase the generated electricity.
The estimated value of the PPA is between RM64,000 and RM78,000 annually over the contract period.
Its board views the PPA as beneficial to the company. — TMR
