Johor Plantations’ 1Q profit surges 52%; declares 1 sen dividend

JOHOR Plantations Group Bhd saw a 52% rise in net profit to RM75.93 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025 (1Q25), lifted by stronger crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK) prices.

Revenue rose 15.4% to RM340.43 million, it said in a bourse filing today.

The group declared a 1 sen interim dividend and reaffirmed its commitment to a minimum annual payout of 50% of Patami.

Its MD Mohd Faris Adli Shukery said the group is “encouraged by the strong start to the year” despite external headwinds.

CPO sales rose 9.2% y-o-y as higher prices offset lower volumes, while PK sales jumped 57.5% on a 65.2% spike in average prices. — TMR
