
TENAGA Nasional Bhd (TNB), Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) and Gamuda Bhd were among the top five counter net bought by foreign investors on Bursa Malaysia for the last two weeks.
Foreign investors continued their streak of net inflows on the local equity market for the week ended May 9, extending to a three-week buying streak, according to MIDF Research’s fund flow report.
For this week, the top five counters were TNB, Maybank, IHH Healthcare Bhd, Gamuda and RHB Bank Bhd.
For the previous week, the top five counters net bought by foreign investors were Maybank, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, TNB, Sunway Bhd and Gamuda.
The report noted that local institutions extended their streak of net selling to three consecutive weeks. —TMR
